Stance Mirror Pro — User Guide
The Stance Mirror Pro gives you a personalised, repeatable setup to work against. Because your eyes and posture shape how you see a putt, and that is different for everyone, the mirror is fitted around your own perception rather than a generic model. Once it is set, it lets you return to your best address position every time, so you can practise and putt from a starting point you can trust.
Getting fitted
- Download the measuring map and follow the perception test to find the address position where you see a true straight line.
- Work through your eye position, posture and stance width until your setup looks and feels right.
- Mark your foot position so your fitted setup can be built into the base mirror.
- Choose your top mirror options — the alignment line placement, line length and hole location that best suit your eyes and stroke.
Not sure you have got it right? Send us your measurements before you order and we will check them for you.
Setting up to practise
- Place the base mirror flat on the putting surface, pointing at your target.
- Add the top mirror so the alignment lines run along your target line.
- Set your feet to the marked positions and settle into your address.
- Check your eyes, stance and putter face against the mirror before you putt.
- Use the Aim Bar to test your perception and for feedback on your start line.
Three ways to practise
Repeat your setup
Take your stance to the marked foot positions and settle in. The aim is to arrive at the same address position every time, without thinking about it. Repeat this until stepping into your fitted setup feels automatic, so you can recreate it on the course without the mirror.
Check your eyes and face
Use the mirror to see where your eyes sit in relation to the ball and target line, and match your putter face to the alignment lines. A putter face that feels square often is not, so use the mirror as your reference rather than your feel, and keep adjusting until square starts to look and feel normal.
Start line feedback
Roll short putts and watch if the ball rolls straight down your chosen line. If it rolls straight down the line, your setup, face and path are matching your aim. If it drifts either way, you have instant feedback that something in your setup or stroke needs adjusting.
Tips
- Start with short putts and only increase the length once your start line is consistent.
- Trust the mirror, not your feel. If your setup feels unusual at first but the mirror is fitted to you, that is your old habit rather than the tool.
- A few focused minutes each session beats long practice without purpose.
- Use the mirror as a quick setup check before a round, then step onto the course with the same position in mind.
